Race description
First Cannon Trail is a mountain running race held in the historic town of Koprivshtitsa, combining sport, nature, and history. The competition offers three routes of varying length and elevation gain, passing through picturesque forest trails, open meadows, and reaching Bogan Peak - the highest point of the Central Mountain. Participants can enjoy beautiful views of the Rhodope Mountains and the Balkan Mountains, as well as the patriotic spirit of the cobbled streets and authentic old houses of Koprivshtitsa.

Additional information
The start is from the central square '20th April' in Koprivshtitsa. Starting packages are received the day before or on the day of the race. Timing is with a chip on the back of the race number. It is mandatory to carry your own water container (minimum 0.5 liters), as no plastic bottles are distributed along the course. Recommended gear includes comfortable mountain running shoes, aluminum foil, and a mobile phone with an extra battery. Live results are published on the website Tracksport.live. The routes include a climb to Bogan Peak, starting in the center of Koprivshtitsa, medal provision, timing, insurance, food, and support drinks. Registration is online via the Tracksport platform. The event is suitable for children under 13 with a guardian.
