Pancharevo Trail Marathon

Pancharevo Trail Marathon is the largest spring mountain running event in Bulgaria, held near Lake Pancharevo. The race offers three distances - 42 km marathon with 1700 meters of elevation gain, 21 km half marathon with 700 meters of elevation gain to Bachun Peak, and 10 km suitable for beginners, as well as a 15 km mountain hike. The routes pass through the picturesque Lozenska Mountain with views of Vitosha, Stara Planina, Rila, and the Iskar Reservoir. The event is organized by the sports club "Begach" and attracts more participants each year.

Start packages are collected on Thursday and Friday before the race in Sofia. Support stations and medical assistance are available along the routes. The event does not provide cups; participants must bring their own bottle or cup for water. A wardrobe is available, but organizers are not responsible for lost items. Free parking is available in Pancharevo. Medical teams are present at the start, Pasarel, and Lalina Mogila. Participants must wear a bib on the chest or stomach.
